The result was hundreds and thousands of dollars in repair work and mold removal. It is such a shame!

Freckles - this is actually one fun project - I would recommend borrowing or buying (if you have lots more projects)an air compressor - you can borrow or possibly rent a framing nailer or a stapler...but it makes the process ten times easier. Plus the air compressor makes reupholstery a breeze :)

Good luck & let me know how it goes!

KatieKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14283162080208362922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7888653511412884793.post-16308783072052758452008-09-08T11:59:00.000-04:002008-09-08T11:59:00.000-04:00Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys make it look so easy!

When we start ours, I may be "blogging" you in a panic b/c I could just see us getting lost in the insulation or framing ourselves in (is that even possible?) =)Freckles Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15378234055571892527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7888653511412884793.post-63171470978416331482008-09-08T09:55:00.000-04:002008-09-08T09:55:00.000-04:00Dude, you have no idea how I just had to deal with...Dude, you have no idea how I just had to deal with this over the weekend. Apparently my basement was never waterproofed when it was built. :::sigh::: So we get to rip it all out and do that now. :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
