Vacay Replay - Portofino Bay

The boyfriend and I are almost at our 1 year anniversary - I know, it's crazy! The wedding was a frenzy, the planning for it was out-of-hand - and it all began two years ago in a little town called Orlando.

Naturally, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to revisit where it all began. So before we headed back to the good-ole-A.T.L. - we headed over to the Portofino Bay Hotel.

This Italian inspired hotel is dropdead gorgeous - so the pics don't do it justice.

We dined here one evening and hands-down the best food we have ever tasted.

Ah - the scooters - made us feel like we were in a little Italian village - except these are bolted to the ground :)

Last time we were here, I was VERY nervous (and cold) walking through this piazza and hallway.

I got a photo in front of this main garden - I remember how I had tens of thousands of knots in my stomach last time we were there.

So after a little engagement reenactment, we jumped on the ferry & enjoyed the ride to CityWalk.

CityWalk is right outside Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure. It has a "street" that connects the two theme parks and boasts great restaurants.

Jeremy is now a Nascar driver - with a very tiny head!

This picture just makes me laugh!

We stopped in Hard Rock for lunch. Hard Rock holds special memories for us. We went there for dessert the night he slipped the ring on my finger...we went to one on the honeymoon and we also try to visit each H.R. in each new city we visit.
